The Leinster Entertainment Awards were first launched in April, 2011 to great acclaim. These awards recognise and honour the achievements of many of the great entertainers of the Irish and International stage. This gala event is now established as one of Ireland's premier awards events encompassing all genre including opera, folk, jazz, country and comedy. Profits from the show have been distributed to a number of charities including Aoibhinn's Pink Tie, MS Ireland, Rehab, Hope D, Arthritis Foundation, Asthma Society of Ireland and The Cara Project.

Coveted trophies are sponsored by local and national businesses and local authorities .

Award winners from previous years include Daniel O'Donnel, Celine Byrne, Mike Denver, Nathan Carter, The Silken Thomas Players, The Willoughby Brothers, Michael English, Johnny McEvoy, Declan Nerney and Charlie McGettigan

The 6th Annual Leinster Entertainment Awards have now been announced and will take place on Monday, 2nd May, 2016 in Killashee House Hotel & Spa, Naas, Co. Kildare.

This year we honour Philomena Begley, Roly Daniels ,T.R. Dallas,Conall Gallen,Robert Mizzell, Marc Roberts, Leah Moran Stage School, Danny Carthy, Eamonn Jackson, Keith McDonald Tom Cooper,Cliona Hagan, Joe Kennedy Niamh Lynn, Shane Hynes , Mary Desmond and 7 year old Nia Hughes

Backing band are The Conquerors , one of Ireland's finest bands
